OK, so ... remember chokers? I'm talking those velvet ones with the little cameo hanging down. You know, like Clarissa Explains it All Used to wear?

photo from collegejolt.com, in-picture commentary by me.

I, like many young Clarissa-obsessed girls had chokers and wore them to death. Mine was dark green with some kind of object in the middle. I don't even remember where I got it from, but it looked great with vest, side ponytail and wacky leggings. You know what I'm talking about?

Why thank you for demonstrating, Clarissa! Anyway, I haven't seen fashion chokers in quite some time, so I was totally tickled to spot one for $5 at Forever21. I was going to add a link to show you guys, but when I went searching for it on their web site, it was nowhere to be found! Perhaps Clarissa bought them all? Good thing I snatched one even though I still haven't figured out a way to wear it. Here it is, sorry about the terrible quality camera-phone pic:

But I wonder. Would Clarissa wear this? I looked around my room and discovered ... a cameo pin! Now it's fit for Ms. Darling:

The fabulous Jessica Stam in Rodarte, looking very modern and very bronze-tastic.

I love this Christian Lacroix on Mary-Kate because it's different, but not outrageous and she looks totally comfortable in it.

Call me an Olsen fangirl, but Ashley's simple-yet-chic signature look has won me over yet again here. She always proves that less really is more.

Ms. Leighton Meester's ensemb has been quite controversial so far, but you've got to give a lady props for picking a look and owning it, and our girl OWNS this.
